• Washing:

  • Temperature : Hand wash or machine wash on a wool cycle, avoiding temperatures above 30°C. This preserves the texture and shape of the fibres.

  • Cycle : Choose a delicate cycle to reduce friction. Avoid hot washing, as this can cause felting.

  • Laundry : Use a detergent specially designed for wool or a mild soap. Avoid products containing enzymes or bleaching agents that can damage the fiber.

• Drying:

  • Spin: Do not wring. Gently remove excess water by pressing the wool between two towels without twisting.

  • Drying: Dry flat on a clean towel, shaping the piece to its original shape. Avoid direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can dry out and damage the wool.

• Ironing :

  • Temperature : Iron at a low temperature (maximum 110°C) by placing a thin cloth between the iron and the wool. This prevents marks and burns.

• Other tips:

  • Tasks : For stains, use a mild wool cleaner. Avoid rubbing hard; pat gently to remove the stain without damaging the fiber.

  • Storage : Store your woolen garments in a cool, dry place. Use moth repellent sachets to keep insects away.
